题干要求如下：

Some people think that all teenagers should be required to do unpaid work in their free time to help the local community. They believe this would benefit both the individual teenager and society as a whole. Do you agree or disagree?

一、如何给观点

首先，题目问的是“Do you agree or disagree?”,是问“你”同不同意？也就是说，在写作过程中，出发点一定是自己，而不能论述别人的观点。

针对上述问题，每个人的观点可以从如下三类观点中任选一个：

完全赞成：我认为这种做法对个人和社会有好处完全反对：我认为这种做法对个人和社会都没有好处部分赞成，部分反对：对个人和社会有好处，可能也有坏处；或对个人有好处，对社会没好处；或对个人有坏处，对社会有好处等。

个人观点确定后，就需要用具体的论据，支撑自己的观点。

在此，我们选择“完全反对”的观点。

当大家选择“完全反对”的观点时，无需对赞成的观点展开论述。

二、确定作文结构

雅思英语大作文的结构，一般写四段即可。

第1段 - 开头段

介绍作文主题（unpaid work for teanagers）给出个人观点（completely disagree，对个人和社会都没好处）

第2段 - 第一个支撑论点

说明为什么对青少年个人没有好处给出具体的事实和理由支持这一论点，如家庭作业很多、是享受快乐的年龄、毕业后会有机会从事这些工作等。

第3段 - 第二个支撑论点

说明为什么对社会没有好处给出具体的事实和理由支持这一论点，如强迫如此做与自由价值观不相符、学生自愿选择服务更合适、难以实施等。

第4段 - 结尾段

重复个人在第一段的观点（对个人和社会都没有好处）。请记住，是重复，不是重抄。

三、满分范文分析

Many young people work on a volunteer basis, and this can only be beneficial for both the individual and society as a whole（引出本文主题）. However, I do not agree that we should therefore force all teenagers to do unpaid work（给出个人反对的观点）.

Most young people are already under enough pressure with their studies, without being given the added responsibility of working in their spare time（第一个理由，青少年学业负担过重）. School is just as demanding as a full-time job, and teachers expect their students to do homework and exam revision on top of attending lessons every day（具体例子，说明有哪些过多的课后学业负担）. When young people do have some free time, we should encourage them to enjoy it with their friends or to spend it doing sports and other leisure activities（因此，在课余时间，应多从事一些运动和娱乐活动）. They have many years of work ahead of them when they finish their studies.

At the same time, I do not believe that society has anything to gain from obliging young people to do unpaid work（论点：对社会没有好处）. In fact, I would argue that it goes against the values of a free and fair society to force a group of people to do something against their will（理由：违背自由价值观）. Doing this can only lead to resentment amongst young people（后果：对年轻人）, who would feel that they were being used, and parents（后果：对父母）, who would not want to be told how to raise their children. Currently, nobody is forced to volunteer, and this is surely the best system.

In conclusion, teenagers may choose to work for free and help others, but in my opinion we should not make this compulsory（结论：重复观点）.
