Dear Jim,

How have you been? Our school will organize an activity called “Sunshine Long-distance Run”. I wonder if you would like to come.

The activity will be held at Haidian Park on May 16th. Students from all grades are welcome to join in. Participants need to gather at the West Gate by 8 am, and the running will start there at 8:20. The running will finish at the East Gate and the total distance will be around 5 km.

If you decide to come, please remember to wear running shoes. You may leave your personal items at the storage desk, where members from the Students’ Union will keep an eye on them.

Hello，everyone. My favorite sport is swimming and here are my reasons.

First, it's an affordable sport. Even though you have to buy an admission ticket, it isn't pricey though. Second, swimming is beneficial to your heart and lungs. In addition to its physical benefits, swimming is also an effective way to relax. Spending hours in the pool in hot summer is always my favorite pastime.

In conclusion, as a very good workout, swimming can give you peace of mind to continue with your day.

【1】Recently the Ministry of Education confirmed that homework for PE must be assigned to make sure that students master sports skills. I can't agree more with it.

【2】From my perspective, it is highly necessary to assign homework for PE. For one thing, students have little time to do exercise owing to lots of academic homework, suffering from physical weakness or overweight. For another, most students prefer to play computer games rather than do sports when they are free, which is bad for their physical health.

【3】My favourite homework for PE is rope skipping because not only can I do it at home conveniently but also it can help to refresh me after I get tired from doing academic homework.
