李艺的个人经历

李艺博士于2000年在英国获得语言学博士学位，同年回到南开大学外国语学院任语言学副教授。

主要从事语用学研究，其研究兴趣集中在跨文化语言交流，语言交流中的礼貌现象以及文化、权势和性别等因素对语言使用的影响。

著有《 The Dynamics of Politeness》一书并在学术刊物上发表相关论文数篇。他为研究生开设的课程包括研究方法、批判思维和语用学研究等，为本科生开设的课程有西方礼貌观念与交际方式和语言与文化。

DR YI LI was awarded Doctor of Philosophy in England in 2000 and came back to work in College of Foreign Languages, Nankai University as an associated professor of linguistics. His research focuses on pragmatics and his main research interest includes cross-cultural communication, linguistic politeness and the influence of culture, power and gender on language use. He published his monograph entitled The Dynamics of Politeness in 2001 and a series of research papers in the various journals. The courses he offered for the post graduate students include research methods, critical thinking skills and research in pragmatics and the courses he offered for the undergraduate students include the Western notions of politeness and ways of communication and language and culture.
